This is why I love being a photographer – Ocala Family Photography

When deciding to have family photographs done, do you constantly find excuses? It’s so hard to find the time with everyone’s schedule. I don’t know what to wear. I’ll wait until I lose a few pounds. Guess what? The clock keeps ticking and your toddlers are driving because they’re 16!! It happens. I get it and need to worked harder at this myself. But at some point you find it in yourself to make the time…to figure out your clothing choices (or don’t stress so much over it)…to forget about those few pounds. And you know what? It turns out to be one of the greatest gifts that you can give to yourself and your family!

What I described happened to my client. And it was one of the most joyous sessions to date!

We have so many local hidden gems in Ocala. We met at Silver Springs State Park and enjoyed a lovely afternoon strolling around the park. *It’s so beautiful there. Only $5 single occupant car/ $8 for 2-8 people. So worth it for the fresh air and the scenery! I got to know her 3 awesome kiddos and see their personalities in full swing. *Scroll through the photos for that pun!

Seriously, I smile thinking of that day. I really do! Handing over her images and seeing the tears well in her eyes gave me such a lift. I know that she froze time that afternoon and will have these images to reminisce. Not only will she recall her family, but she’ll remember the great time that they shared that day…the experience that came along with everyone coming together to make a memory.

Mom told me that they didn’t really have photos from  their wedding. It was important for me to set aside time to capture them alone. After all, they’re responsible for this beautiful family of 5! I think that these next two photographs are so touching!
