Dessaint Family Session Downtown Ocala

Oh, this family makes my heart sing. I adore them to the moon and back. I’m serious! Hang out with them just a minute or two and you’ll see what I mean! For realz!

I’m so glad that we had our shoot in Downtown Ocala. There are so many nooks & crannies and interesting bits. Have you been downtown lately? It seems like there is lots of activity and change is in the air. I just hope that they’re able to preserve the little history we have in our buildings. I’m all for efficient spaces and modern materials, but there is nothing like layers of history. Most days you walk right past it, and others, you take the time to wonder what it was like in it’s heyday. I almost always  act on the latter. But, I digress…

The Dessaints! Yes. Some of my favorite sweet people. Though I think that they would look wonderful in any setting! Love the sweet pop of color in the plaid dress and the coordinating (not matching) colors/ outfits worn by everyone else. Perfect, in my opinion. I’m so grateful that they’ve trusted me with their family photos.
