So, this happened.
Alex and I baked Dad some cookies for V-Day while Nicholas was in school. I found this previously sampled guy at the end of the cooling rack. Hmmm…I wonder who it could have been? According to Alex, it was Nicholas (in school, remember?)…or Beelee. Of course it was.
He’s been playing the blame game lately and it’s quite amusing. The other evening, I was helping Nicholas with homework and I noticed that Alex was very very quiet. We all know that means trouble, right? As soon as I called his name, “Alex.” “Nicholas did it! Nicholas spilled all of the paint.” Yup. Alex was siting by himself squeezing poster paint into several little cups on the floor. There was paint everywhere. Everywhere. It’s amazing how much damage can be done in 20 minutes. Luckily, I was off to a meeting at school. Sorry Dad!
•I know that I’ve been missing days lately. It’s just that I’m finding it hard to balance everything and if something’s gotta give, it’s going to be this project. Sorry. The guilt of being at home and sitting on my computer while Alex repeatedly asks me to read/ play / be with him caught up with me. I attempt to do my work when the kids are in bed, but most nights I want to be in bed, too. I try to squeeze in what I can when I can. So, stay with me, please. xoxox
