Do you remember meeting Molly before? Well, here’s another goofy pic.
Don’t you feel like doing this somedays? Just zonking out on the couch. This is the everyday for Miss Molly. Unfortunately, I made too much noise grabbing my camera and her upper lip skin (?) tightened up a bit. Right before this frame she was full-out exposing her upper teeth…gums and all…so relaxed. It was so very funny. Sleeping like this looks like bliss to me, I have to admit.
The only thing that I did technically with this photo was to place a reflector camera left (low) angled up toward Molly’s face. The reflector in this situation was a large white (2′ x 3′) drawing pad. It was close to me and retrieving it didn’t disturb Molly’s sleep too much. Reflecting light toward her muzzle was necessary to catch the detail in her face. Sometimes shadow is good, but not what I was going for in this pic. Glad the notepad was nearby.
