Dance Photographer in Central Florida

Dance is near and dear to my heart as I grew up at the dance studio which eventually led to a professional dance career. It's my experience that gives me the edge with capturing movement at just the perfect time! I'm fluent in proper technique and I know when rules can be broken. I also have an eye for pleasing lines and am able to coach my dancers on how to achieve them. As the subject, dance photography requires a lot of focus and hard work. I'm a stickler for warming up and taking breaks as necessary. Clients often leave our sessions feeling like they've had a private coaching. That makes me smile.

Fun facts: I performed in 3 Broadway shows, 2 National Tours, and performed eye-high kicks as a World-Famous Radio City Music Hall Rockette. It was my time performing that I grew curious about photography. While on shoots (as the talent), I was always keeping an eye on what was happening with the lighting and watching the photographer swap her camera for one with fresh film! Who knew that I would be in their shoes one day?
